Oh my gosh my baby is gettin' Married!

Well Kylie has said YES to her Prince Charming! Steve Fuller is the lucky guy who stole her heart! Here is their story. Earlier today Steve called Kylie and insisted that she come down from school and go to dinner. So she came down to Salt Lake and they went to dinner at Chili's. After dinner they left the restaurant and were driving back to Steve's place when they were pulled over by a police officer. Steve had made a right turn without signaling. When officer Wright looked up Steve's record he found a warrant for his arrest for unpaid speeding tickets. He asked Steve to get out of the car and had Kylie get out as well. He made Steve get down on his knees and hand cuffed his one hand and slipped the ring into the other hand. Kylie was pleeding with the officer and telling him it must be a mistake. He then asked Steve if he had any last words. Steve began to tell Kylie how much he loved her, (Kylie was thinking okay Steve this is not the time or place) but then he said, "Kylie, would you make me the luckiest man in the world and be my wife?" Kylie started to cry and said YES! The best part is The officer is Steve's friend and recorded the whole thing from his police car. The rest is to be continued......
PS - You can also double click on Ky's picture on the top right side of my blog(with the singles of each of my kids) and it will take you into her blog! Fun huh!

What a fun day we had! Jared and I spent the morning with some great friends from our ward family! We decited, what better way to spend Valentines, than with the one you love, at the Temple! So we met some friends down at the Salt Lake Temple for the 9:00 Endownment session. Most of us hadnt been to this particular temple for years, but someone had heard a rumor that it was going to be closing soon for renovation, and yes it turned out to be only just a rumor, (its amazing how stuff like that gets started!) but it was a fun day none the less! The temple was so beautiful inside. It was truly amazing to think the pioneers could do all this with soo little. It was also touching as we saw so many with disabilities, doing the Lords work. It was great to be among such special spirits.
After the Temple we ate some lunch in the Joseph Smith Memorial building, in "The Garden" resturant. As you can see by the pictures, there was plenty of "Ham" to go around! What a fun day!

Happy 19th Birthday Kylie!!

Its hard to believe my baby is 19! Beacuse Kylie is up in Logan and going to school at Utah State, me Halle and Brooklyn decited to take a trip up to see her for her birthday! The little girils just love their big sissy. We took her and her roomates to lunch at this great place called the "Fire House" they had great pizza but our favorite was the fh-zookie! Its like a half-baked cookie with ice cream on top - yummy!
Then we went back to her apartment and opened presents. Steve had sent Kylie roses. Rachael bought her a ribbon that said, "Birthday Girl" and she made Kylie wear it all day, even to her classes. They also made her a Barbie cake for her birthday! Shes got some really fun roomates. She is having lots of fun up at school, but we miss her lots! Love you Ky!

I'm Going there Someday...

The Stoddards, Tophams, and Bulloughs
Steve and Kylie The Draper Temple makes 12 Temples just in Utah!
Patiently waiting...
Ever since I can remember our little Halle Jo has had a facination with Temples. She loves them all but her very favorite is the
"Chocolate Temple". Since she was little, every time we passed the Salt Lake Temple on the way to my parent's, she would look out and say, "I love my Chocolate Temple". We can only assume that she called it that because it is the only temple that isnt "white".
So as you can imagine she was thrilled when she heard that she would get the chance to see "inside" a real temple, as soon as the Draper Temple was completed. It sits on the hill close to my brother Bret's home. Since they learned that they would get to go inside, the kids have asked lots of questions. Although we know it is the Lords house we had to explain to Halle that she wouldnt be meeting Jesus there, we would only feel His spirit. But my favorite was when she asked me if there was a treasure in the temple, I of course had to respond with Yes! And then went on to explain that inside the temple is the greatest treasure on earth, its Eternal Life with our families! Although this probably wasnt the answer she was expecting she smiled with approval!
We had soo much fun this night! The Draper Temple was beautiful! My favorite part was sitting in the sealing room and looking both ways into the "Eternal" mirrors. And the murals painted on the walls in the endowment rooms, they were amazing. What a peaceful feeling inside those walls. Its such a sacred and Holy place. How lucky are we to be soo close to soo many. We went on Saturday January 30th, with our family, my sister Kelly's family and my brother Bret's family. It was so great to be able to take our children and let them have a glimps into forever! I can still remember my experience going through the Jordan River Temple back in June 1981. I was only 13! WOW how time flies! My testimony about Temples and the importance of temple work has grown over the years. We are so blessed to have so many, so close! I am grateful to be a forever family!

Aruba, Jamacia - ooooh i wanna take ya!

Kylie, Brooklyn and Halle were listening to the song "Kokomo" by the Beach Boys. Kylie had them dress up Hawiian Style and they danced and danced. The girls love Kylie soo much and love spending time with her when she comes home from Utah State. Sometimes I wish they were a litter closer in age so they could enjoy Kylie every day! Kylie is an amazing older sister and always takes time with them when she comes home. I love that shes not too big to have fun! We Love you Ky!

Great Parents

Lynn & Carolyn Fletcher
(Dad and Mom)
The Whole Motley Crew
Kim & Chris, Shelly & Jared, Bret & Casey, Shannon & Kelly, Danny & Pam, Cory & Karen, Brenda & Brian, Jamie & Ben

We are soo lucky to have the parents that we do! They are so good to us! For Christmas they gave each of us kids (couples), gift cards to go eat dinner all together, while they watched all our kids. We ate at Lone Star Steak House. It was super yummy and just fun to be with all my siblings (there are nine kids in my family) and all the spouses. I’m grateful for parents who encourage us to make memories with each other. This is the second year they have done this for us. Here are some fun pics.

Our 4 Beautiful Children, How Lucky are we!
The Love of My Life! Our Family - December 2009
These were some fun pictures we had taken just before Christmas. My friend Natalie Steed took them. We were soo happy with how they turned out. Natalie said my kids were so easy to photograph, she could tell they were used to getting their picture taken (ha ha - sorry kids). We had to wait until Kylie had come home from her winter break at Utah State to get these pictures done. This was the first Saturday after she came home, and it also was the first really big snow storm of the season. But my family was so great and suffered through the cold. It was worth it to get these fun shots! Thanks again Natalie!
